Is Fields of Mistria Fully Released?

Yes. Fields of Mistria version 1.0 launched on August 5, 2026 for Windows PC through Steam. Early Access began on August 5, 2024, making the full-release date two years later.

Version 1.0 completes major Town Repair, Town Rank, museum, relationship, and endgame systems. Town Rank now reaches Rank 100, and relationships extend through proposals, weddings, marriage, and children. Use the release overview for the full system-by-system explanation.

The current official patch covered by this site is 1.0.2 from August 11, 2026. Later patches should change the current label without changing the historical 1.0 release date. Official patch pages remain the source of truth for individual fixes.

Do Existing Saves Still Work?

Yes. The official 1.0 FAQ says all saves carry over and can access the new content regardless of prior progress. Starting a new farm is optional rather than a compatibility requirement.

Load the existing save after updating and review mail, active quests, Town Rank, Museum progress, relationships, and the Mines. Systems that stopped at an Early Access boundary can now add objectives around completed work. Preserve the old file before personal changes, but do not discard it because a guide incorrectly demands a restart.

Eligible Steam achievements are retroactive. The game can recognize stored progress after the save is loaded and award the corresponding achievement. This avoids repeating every completed collection or progression milestone solely for Steam.

Which Platforms Are Supported?

Fields of Mistria is currently available for Windows PC through Steam. The official FAQ also states that the game is Steam Deck compatible. Check Steam for active system requirements and store availability.

No Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, or other console date is confirmed. NPC Studio says the team is focused on PC and will evaluate potential ports later. A future evaluation is not a release announcement, so speculative console pages remain hidden.

The official FAQ also confirms controller support and gender-inclusive player options, including selectable pronouns. Keybinds can be reviewed and changed in the Controls section of Settings. Follow the current in-game prompts for the detected device.

How Do Romance and Marriage Work?

The full release has 12 marriage candidates. The official FAQ says candidates are not locked by gender, so any eligible villager can be chosen regardless of the player’s gender. The verified list appears on the Romance Options page.

Friendship grows through supported interactions such as conversation and confirmed gifts. Marriage candidates show a heart marker, while other residents use a gem. Resident friendship does not decay according to the current structured reference.

Version 1.0 completes dating, proposals, weddings, marriage, and children. Character-specific schedules, gifts, and event requirements appear only when their current source data is complete. Unsupported profiles remain absent instead of being filled with guessed preferences or copied tables.

What Languages and Price Apply?

The first wave of beta localizations released with 1.0 includes Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Spanish. The official release FAQ described the translations as still in progress. Later patches can add or improve translated text.

The official FAQ said the price would not rise with the 1.0 update. This site does not quote a fixed price because regional pricing and promotions can change. Check the official Steam listing for the current amount in the relevant region.

For other current questions, use the guide that matches the search intent. The Updates page tracks the current patch, Platforms covers availability, and Getting Started explains the opening loop. If a factual answer cannot be supported by reliable current text, it is omitted until evidence exists.

Where Should a New Player Start?

Follow the opening story, plant a field that can be watered consistently, and meet residents along the normal route. Check the Request Board, donate eligible new finds, and ship surplus after protecting quest and collection items. Let Town Rank and active story objectives identify the next major system.

The Mines require the Stone Town Rank at level 10 together with their related quest sequence. Reaching the rank alone does not replace Eiland’s Museum introduction or the later entrance meeting. Use the focused unlock guide when the door remains closed.

Avoid advice that gives exact spending, crop counts, or daily targets without current evidence. Weather, requests, discoveries, and player goals change the useful route. The site’s beginner pages use verified decision points instead of claiming one perfect schedule.

How Are Facts Verified Here?

Versions, release dates, platforms, prices, and availability require official sources. Gameplay guides use official or current structured references, and precise numbers remain excluded unless the source is strong enough. Community discussion can suggest a question but cannot establish the central answer alone.

Every public article shows its sources and update date. Unsupported pages stay out of navigation, search, and related links rather than displaying an empty “to be confirmed” shell. This policy is why the FAQ may answer fewer questions than an unverified scraped list.

When an official patch changes a fact, the newer developer source takes priority. Historical pages keep their dates while the current tracker advances. That preserves both accuracy and a readable version timeline.
