Is Fields of Mistria Fully Released?
Yes. Fields of Mistria version 1.0 launched on August 5, 2026 for Windows PC through Steam. Early Access began on August 5, 2024, making the full-release date two years later.

Do Existing Saves Still Work?
Yes. The official 1.0 FAQ says all saves carry over and can access the new content regardless of prior progress. Starting a new farm is optional rather than a compatibility requirement.
Load the existing save after updating and review mail, active quests, Town Rank, Museum progress, relationships, and the Mines. Systems that stopped at an Early Access boundary can now add objectives around completed work. Preserve the old file before personal changes, but do not discard it because a guide incorrectly demands a restart.
Eligible Steam achievements are retroactive. The game can recognize stored progress after the save is loaded and award the corresponding achievement. This avoids repeating every completed collection or progression milestone solely for Steam.
Which Platforms Are Supported?
